Deschamps Freres French Art Deco silver plate lemon squeezer

I could not resist this lovely little lemon squeezer. Made in silver plated metal by the Parisian company Deschamps Freres (founded 1923) it resembles a small cocktail shaker. Lift off the lid and turn the top upside down to reveal the integral lemon squeezer. Once turned upside down the top fist into the top of the base so that the lemon juice drips down into the base. It is possible that it could also double as a cocktail shaker. The top and the base of the lemon squeezer have incised lines. The base is stamped "Vulcain Depose" and has the marks for Deschamps Freres,
